He is a Commerce Graduate from Delhi University, a qualified Cost & Management Accountant as well as Company Secretary, with over 29 years of distinguished experience with Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), a Maharatna Public Sector Enterprise. He has built deep domain expertise across the power and energy sectors, with a strong track record in corporate finance, project execution, administration, financial governance including exposure of handling international projects. Over the course of his career, he has held key leadership roles across a wide spectrum of finance and administrative functions, including accounting, budgeting, audit, taxation, treasury and cash management, MIS, receivables, and corporate administration. He has been closely associated with the financial management of large, capital-intensive projects, contributing to robust financial planning, prudent resource utilization, and strengthening of internal control frameworks. A qualified TQM Assessor, he has also led strategic corporate initiatives, notably spearheading the successful share buyback programme of BHEL amounting to ₹1,800 crore, demonstrating his capability in handling complex financial transactions and capital restructuring Known for his strategic insight and disciplined approach, he plays a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective stakeholder engagement, while supporting the organization’s growth and long-term value creation. He is widely recognized for his strong leadership and commitment to excellence, and has mentored and trained numerous professionals, contributing significantly to organisational objectives.
