Mr K Ashok serves as the Executive Director and Head of the BHEL Tiruchirappalli Complex one of the key manufacturing hubs of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited, comprising the High Pressure Boiler Plant (Unit I & II) and the Seamless Steel Tube Plant at Tiruchirappalli, the Power Plant Piping Unit at Thirumayam, and the Industrial Valves Plant at Goindwal, Punjab. With nearly four decades of professional experience, Mr Ashok brings extensive expertise across project execution, operations, engineering, and digital transformation. Mr Ashok began his career with BHEL in 1990 as a Graduate Engineer Trainee and has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership across key roles, including at the BHEL Corporate Office in Noida and the Boiler Auxiliaries Plant at Ranipet.He has been instrumental in driving transformative, high-impact initiatives that have significantly enhanced operational efficiency and organizational competitiveness. Recognized for his operational excellence and inclusive leadership style, Mr Ashok is exceptionally well positioned to strengthen and advance the strategic objectives of Bharat Coal Gasification and Chemicals Limited (BCGCL), adding momentum to its growth and national relevance.
